What files can be put on the USB?

All common photo and video files such as JPG, PNG, MP4, MOV, AVI.

How many photos and videos fit on a USB?

This depends on the storage capacity (e.g. 16GB, 32GB, 64GB) and the quality of the files.



Can I have photos and videos transferred from my phone?

Yes, from both iPhone and Android.



Can I have photos from old devices (camera, SD card, CD/DVD) transferred to a USB drive?

Yes, that is usually not a problem as long as the device or memory card is readable.

Will my original files be preserved?

Yes, when transferring, I copy the files; nothing is deleted unless otherwise agreed

How are the files organized on the USB?

Usually in folders sorted by date, event or client request.

For videos, you can choose to put each video on a separate USB stick.

Can you recover damaged or corrupt files?

Sometimes, depending on the damage.
No guarantee, but partial repair is often possible.

Privacy & Security

How are privacy-sensitive photos or videos handled?

Files are treated confidentially and deleted after completion.
The equipment I work with is also not connected to the internet or a network.

Which videos or photos can we have put on USB?

This includes cherished memories like a wedding, birth, a party, or another special occasion.

We do not transfer erotic images!

Compatibility

Does the USB work on any computer or TV?

Almost all computers, but not every TV, play all video formats.
If necessary, the videos can be converted to another file format.

On a computer, codecs may sometimes need to be downloaded. If you don't know how to do that, Gv Computerservice can do it with you.

The USB stick will first be tested to see if it works.

This depends on the quantity, processing, and whether a USB needs to be included.

How long does the transfer take?

From immediately ready to several working days, depending on the number of photos or videos.

For videos, it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks

Can I provide my own USB stick or external hard drive?

Yes, you can, as long as it works properly, has sufficient storage, and is, of course, empty.

Can you make multiple USB drives with the same content?

Yes, this is not a problem.
If you provide your own USB stick or external hard drive, there are no costs involved.
If Gv Computerservice has to provide the USB stick or external hard drive, you pay the costs for the USB stick or external hard drive.
